Another Church is possible

To all the brothers and sisters who share the same concerns, search and hope, gathered in an eclesial assembly.  My brotherly greeting in the name of the One who is the Way of our peace.

We are journeying, hoping that we are in the WAY in search of the Peace of the Reign. The journey is gratuitous, conflictive, gift and conquest at the same time.

We are Church and we would like to be in a mature, free, participatory and hopeful way. Without complexities nor bitterness, proposing rather than protesting. We become Church and do Church from the respective situations as lay, as religious and as ordained ministry.

With a passionate will for ecumenism, our commitment for the same passionate will of Jesus who said: that all be one, Father. With a growing capacity for inter-religious dialogue, open to many names and presences of the Living and One God.. With a firm commitment to assume all the Causes for Life, Justice and Peace as we daily live the great sacrament of universal solidarity. Prophetically contesting, in this case, yes, against the system of death that excludes the majority of the human family.

With our option for the poor, we get involved with migrant peoples, proposing a cultural, social, economic and political alternative. The ultimate and definite alternative of the Reign of God.

We are journeying in this conciliar process. The Spirit animates us. We are millions in the world, dreaming and pushing. The slogan of Jesus is, “put out in deep water”.       With Him, we are aboard, dear brothers and sisters.

Why fear if there is the Resurrection?

From “Amazonia Brasil” a heart-felt embrace of one like minded
